I am glad we are almost done taking our typhoid vaccine oral. My little girl has a hard time swallowing it but yesterday, she did. One more to go and that's it. It's pretty warm now even in the morning so summer is here and expect a lot more warmer days from now on.

I talked to my sister and the reservation is all set. Mama's freaking out cause it's kind of far. She is always worried about her beautiful grandchildren. I think all grandmas are like that. Always worried...

We are getting there, and aside from the "swine flu" am actually excited about my trip. Can't wait to see my family back home, and for Joey he can't wait to see this.

Oh dear, it was funny. My little boy was hiding something when I picked him up. A little folder on his back, he was very hesitant to give it to me. I got more curios so when he handed it to me, I open it right away and look inside. Oh boy! It's his mother's day present for me. He was being skittish, maybe he is not sure if I am going to like it or not.

I told him it's the most beautiful gift for all time. It's priceless and wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better than diamonds. He smiled and said, thanks Mom, I was afraid you won't like it.

Sure, life can get busy at times. There are times that I had a hard time choosing which one to do first. Multi-tasking is a great skill to have but sometimes it makes you wonder. How did I do that? Kids are almost off school, and they are getting busy every minute. Exams, assessments, and field trips. One after another. That sometimes I became harebrained. With two kids, you will also do double time. But I never forget to find time for myself. It's essential and crucial. Never ever forget to stop and smell the roses. The other day, I found a very good deal of purses. I was contemplating, whether to get it or not, do I really need it? Do I have to spend that much or what? Whatever, I want it. I never forgot what hubby said. Needs and wants are two different things. A need is something you can't live without, while "wants" are fancy. Fancy indeed. Here I am being chichi and froufrou. If you got it, flaunt it.

She is one whimsical little girl of mine. Now that she is getting older, she doesn't like it when I take her picture. I have to allure her then I can take one or two. And that's it. No more, no less. Now that she is in 1st grade, she is so busy doing all sorts of things. I am amazed how she loved reading chapter books. She must have been like me. Reading is great. You'll go places like you never did before. Imagination and fun all in one.

I visited Bohol before I came to the US. It was about twelve years ago and even then, it was beautiful. A lot has changed since then, now it's even more breath-taking. My sister told me that she will get a reservation once I got there. She even told me, that she has a 50% discount of any hotels of my choice, since the bank she works for financed some of the businesses here and of course they are also given some freebies. One of it, is hotel discounts. Not bad, we might as well take advantage of it. Why not? My kids will surely love it, the beaches, the chocolate hills and of course the tarsiers. I bet Joey will be delighted to see those tiny creatures.
